Zhi and Kenneth Tan were born in Taishan, Guangdong. They built Kiyomi here in Chicopee.

Our Story

From Our Kitchen to Your Plate

Born and raised in Taishan, Guangdong, Zhi and Kenneth Tan came from humble beginnings — working their way up from bus boys to restaurant owners. Their passion for authentic Chinese and Japanese cooking led them to open Kiyomi, bringing the flavors they grew up with, and the ones they discovered along the way, home to Chicopee, Massachusetts.

Today that means fresh sushi combinations, specialty rolls, and comforting bowls of ramen and noodles — made with care, every day.
